The world has been corrupted by industrial darkness, transforming once-thriving lands into toxic wastelands. As the Commander of the Verdant Order, you are the last line of defense. Protect the Heart of the Forest from relentless waves of Pollution Goblins using strategic placement, crystal economy, and tactical focus.

Key Features

• Focused Tactical Combat: Survive 20 increasingly difficult waves across challenging biomes. Master a tight, balanced roster of core defenders: the ranged Greenshot, the frontline melee Forest Knight, and the crowd-controlling Crystal Spring.
• Multi-Lane Defense: Guard alternating paths and flanking routes (bridges, tracks, open terrain) to keep goblin hordes from breaking through your lines.
• Climactic Boss Waves: Stand your ground against massive environmental threats, including the explosive Plastic Bomber swarms, the area-denying Oil Behemoth, and airborne terrors.

Controls & How to Play

• Left-Click on a Sign Post: Select an available build plot on the map.
• Choose Tower: Click your desired tower from the radial / selection popup to construct it using Crystals.
• Mouse Navigation: Inspect the battlefield, manage upgrades, and trigger the next wave when ready.

About the Project

Verdant: The Last Forest is a solo-developed 2D Tower Defense game created for the MindHack 2026 competition under the theme "Guardians of the Planet". Built in Unity with the Tiny Sword pixel art style.
